Last week, before its worldwide public debut, Mitsubishi revealed the new L200 and ASX GEOSEEK concepts online. Both boast a wide range of accessories. Both prototypes are aggressive and bode a sense of adventure. The outdoorsy appeal is accentuated with a strong rugged look and feel.
Both concepts wear a solid pearl grey body colour combined with a contrasting bright orange finish on rims, fog lamp bezels, mirror caps, tailgate spoiler, rear bumper. Even the side step and side panels don a bit of orange. The roof rack beckons an outdoor adventure enabling one to carry all necessary outdoor gear whatever the reason be.
Mitsubishi L200 Geoseek and ASX Geoseek plays on the words geo and seek to emphasize on exploration. Apart from the roof basket, the cars are fitted with a mesh inner grill up front and skid plate below the bumper. The pick up has roof rails fitted with lights and hand holds. ASX has LED fog lamps.
Cabin interiors are fitted in predominantly black trims with orange accents to complement the exterior theme. Suede-like fabric with low-slip surface is used on side bolsters and mesh fabric centre panels for improved ventilation. Alongside Mitsubishi L200 and ASX GEOSEEK concepts, the eX concept makes its European debut.
