Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd (TKM) has stopped production of the Innova. The outgoing model received a grand farewell recently at the manufacturer's facility in Bidadi making way for the upcoming Innova Crysta. The Innova Crysta that was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo will replace this outgoing model.

This next-gen Innova is expected to replicate the MPV's success with its fresh look and new features. It will be offered in a new set of 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre diesel engine options, along with the availability of a 2.0-litre petrol mill.

Transmission options will include a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox. The new vehicle might be priced more than outgoing Innova, but will continue to compete with the Renault Lodgy, Mahindra Xylo and the Nissan Evalia in the premium MPV category.
