New design, sportier chassis and Extensive Sport Chrono Package marks the updates under the Exclusive package on board the new Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman.

Sporting same design inspiration seen in the mid-engined Porsche 718 sports car seen in the 1950s and 1960s, the new 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman models were launched earlier this year. Now, as if the two cars were not exclusive enough, the Stuttgart based brand has added an Exclusive package for those who are always in the need for more.

The two continue to be powered by same new turbocharged four cylinder engines as on the regular ones. The 2.5 liter engine of 718 Boxster/Cayman generates 299 PS and peak torque of 380 Nm offered from 1950 to 4500 rpm while the same engine on 718 Boxster/Cayman S offers 349 PS and 420 Nm at 1900 to 4500 rpm.

718 Boxster/Cayman accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds while Boxster/Cayman S achieves this in 4.2 seconds. Top speed stands at 275 kmph and 285 kmph respectively.

Porsche Exclusive, the division of Porsche which gives subtle updates to regular products, has announced new Exclusive package for the two. Under this, 718 Boxster gets sports exhaust system with black tailpipes, SportDesign package, side and rear gets painted model designation badges, 20-inch Carrera Sport wheels and a new exterior colour scheme of yellow with hints of black.

On the inside, the 718 Cayman gets the same yellow/black theme, a GT themed sportier steering wheel which is wrapped in Alcantara leather. It also gets a carbon fiber interior package.

Porsche 718 Cayman receives similar packages with silver coloured exterior elements, white interior accents, stainless steel and brushed aluminium interior trim.
