Mehta has previously served as CEO of Oncquest Laboratories Private Limited (Oncquest) and Piramal Diagnostic Services Private Limited. An alumnus of IIT Mumbai and IIM Kolkata, Girish’s leadership experience spans across all key sectors of healthcare including pharmaceuticals, diagnostic services, diagnostic instrumentation and consumables, medical consumables and hospitals.

MedGenome, a first mover in genomics-based diagnostics and research from India, has two state-of-the-art next generation sequencing labs in the country and is the highest throughput sequencing lab in South East Asia. It offers over 100 genetic tests for neurological disorders, cancer, cardiac disorders, eye-disorder, among others and is the only genetic facility in the country that has been validated to run a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) to screen for chromosomal disorders in the baby’s DNA, through its technology collaboration with Natera on PanoramaTM NIPT. It offers its genomics solutions to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to support their exploratory research and drug development programs.
