Hyderabad : Freshersworld, India’s largest job portal for freshers, today revealed the results of a survey entitled “Top 10 Dream Companies for Freshers in India” as part of the HR Workplace Survey, 2016.

The Top 10 Dream companies (in no particular order) are EMC, Tavant, VMware, Microsoft, Akamai, GE, Visa, NVIDIA, Urban Ladder & Manhattan Associates.

Survey Methodology:

Freshersworld created a survey, which was divided into three parts. The first part was sending a survey to freshers to understand their list of 50 top dream companies. But, that was not enough to understand whether the shortlisted companies too had an outlook, which included freshers. The second part of the survey was extensive research through available online and offline sources to validate company data. The third step included a survey form sent to shortlisted companies which included 10 questions which would help Freshersworld better understand their hiring + retention strategy for freshers.

“We are happy to announce the results of this survey,” said Joby Joseph, Founder & CEO of Freshersworld. “We have intentionally not included rankings for the same as we believe each company which is on the list has a certain unique value proposition. For the same reason we haven’t compared companies based on their employee strength. While most companies that have been selected are big corporates, they are not essentially the companies with the largest workforce,” he added Amit Verma-Sr. Director HR, NVIDIAsaid, “NVIDIA strives to provide an inclusive and exciting work culture, giving fresh graduates the opportunity to work on some of the world’s most leading edge software & hardware technology. Apart from building on their technical expertise, they also have immense opportunity to innovate and be recognized for pushing the creative & technology envelope, setting themselves up for successful engineering and management careers. We are gratified to receive this award, which is actually recognition of the great ork all our employees undertake, both new and old.”

Geetika Mehta, Director - Human Resources, Urban Ladder said, “We are pleased to be selected one amongst the ‘Top 10 dream companies for Freshers’ by the HR Workplace Survey 2016! As we have grown over the years, growth of our employees has been super important to us. We are a flat, meritocratic organisation with a strong entrepreneurial bent. We believe in giving our employees the opportunity and freedom to run the business hands-on from day one. Many of the freshers have demonstrated drive to handle critical roles within months of joining us, and we have rewarded them with step up opportunities. These growth opportunities and a productive work-culture of creativity and fun makes Urban Ladder a perfect workplace for freshers.

Rohit Thakur, Head of HR, Microsoft India said, “Campus hires form an integral part of our talent strategy at Microsoft and we have always cherished the fresh perspective and energy that millennials infuse into our organization.
