NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant on Thursday announced a plan for floating a dedicated women cell to handhold and facilitate promotion of women entrepreneurs in the country. The cell will deal with several issues that budding entrepreneurs are facing in the country.
Hyderabad: NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant on Thursday announced a plan for floating a dedicated women cell to handhold and facilitate promotion of women entrepreneurs in the country. The cell will deal with several issues that budding entrepreneurs are facing in the country.
Right from idea conceptualisation, tapping capital to mentorship, the proposed women cell will take care of all the issues pertaining to women entrepreneurs, said Kant.
NITI Aayog gives priority to girls and will set up tinkering labs at schools. “The cell would handhold women entrepreneurs and acts as a facilitator and catalyst,” Kant told the media after conclusion of the three-day Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES-2017) here.
