Wedding bells are just round the corner for actor Aadi who seems excited as he talks about his fiancée Aruna. “I just spoke to her for 30 minutes on the phone,” he smiles during a conversation on Monday.

The actor will be tying the knot with the Rajahmundry girl on December 13 in Hyderabad. Aruna who Aadi first met at his sister’s wedding a couple of years ago is an engineering graduate and was employed at Hyderabad’s Oracle for six months. “Her father is a big lawyer in Rajahmundry and has his own contacts in the industry. He ran a thorough background check on me before coming to a conclusion that I am clean,” says Aadi.

Recalling his first meeting with the soon-to-be bride, he says, “The first time I met her, I understood that she has a good upbringing. I explained to her about the ways of the industry and how gossips spread. Being a modern girl she knows how certain things operate. She is broad-minded, calm and caring. I feel my married life will be a smooth ride.”

But before his nuptials, the actor will see the release of his long pending film ‘Rough’. To be out this Friday, the film is keeping the actor busy with promotions alongside other work related to his marriage. “After two long years, the film is finally releasing! Though I completed two films after Rough’, the film was always close to my heart,” he says, adding, “It has all the trappings of a commercial entertainer with loads of action, comedy and family emotions. I can brand it as a complete film.”

He continues, “The late Srihari garu is playing Rakul Preet’s brother in the film. His role is laced with comedy and we got to shoot some Tom and Jerry kind of sequences. He is a dear friend of dad and the film will be a befitting farewell to him.”

The suave actor, who will be flaunting his six-pack abs in the film, says a particular action block required him to bulk up. “After we shot one action sequence under the supervision of Ram-Laxman, we felt the need to take the next block a notch higher, which is when I decided to hit the gym. It took eight long months for me to build strong muscles.”
