Even as there is a nationwide furore over the screening of PK, activists of VHP on Wednesday demanded Regional Censor Board not to issue certification for Gopala Gopala.

Even as there is a nationwide furore over the screening of PK, activists of VHP on Wednesday demanded Regional Censor Board not to issue certification for Gopala Gopala.
As has been the charge against PK, here too the protestors are alleging that the film contains sequences that will hurt the sentiments of Hindus as they show godmen in poor light. To press their demands further and intensify their agitation many activists staged a dhara at the board’s office seeking a complete ban on the film, which is slated for Sankranti release. “We want the objectionable content to be scrapped,” said an activist.
