In a heart-warming gesture, although she is yet to recover from her injuries, she wrapped up shooting for the film, braving the intense pain in order to keep up the commitments.Recently, the actress shot for a few days even though there was a relapse following a shoulder injury she sustained during ‘Rudhramadevi’.
But Anushka managed to drag herself to the shooting spot and complete the film. Apparently, the makers had to roll bandage around her shoulder (to suppress pain) even as she was on a regular dose of painkillers to wrap up the shoot of the comic-drama.
An emotion-ridden source close to the unit says, “Despite pain, the actress took part in the shooting and helped the film's unit complete the shooting as per plan. Since the film’s release date was already announced (November 27), Anushka ensured that she completes it no matter what.”
“Anushka amazed us all with her dedication. It’s a proof of her intensity as an actress that is laced with humanness,” the source added.
The satirical comic-drama, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, also features Arya and Sonal Chauhan in pivotal roles.
