Sai Dharam Tej turns cop

After playing a slew of lover boy roles, Sai Dharam Tej will be next seen as a cop in Krishna Vamsi’s forthcoming film ‘Nakshatram’. Apparently, the filmmaker has penned a special yet powerful role and has approached the ‘Supreme’ star to essay the character. The actor was more than glad to get into the shoes of a powerful cop a first for him. Sai is expected to join the sets soon.

“I knew Sai Dharam Tej since a long time. I have seen his body language in his recent films and I was impressed with his elegance. He perfectly suits the role, which will be a surprise package,” says the director. Sundeep Kishan and Regina are the lead pair while Kajal will be seen in a crucial cameo.
