Super Star Mahesh Babu's 'Spyder' is all set to ring in a new record in terms of the pre-release business. Post the release of Baahubali, the numbers of every film are appearing huge. Now, the latest buzz is that the makers of SPYder did not sell the rights of the film in all the areas.
They are expecting that the pre-release business for the Telugu version will come upto 90 crore rupees. On the other side, the Tamil version was sold to Lyca for 23 crore rupees and the film's satellite deal for three languages is closed at 26 crore rupees. The makers are yet to sell the film in Hindi and Malayalam which they are thinking to do for 25 crore rupees.
With these huge numbers involved, the makers wanted the pre-release business to happen around 170 crore rupees margin. The film unit wanted to release the film with a table profit and wanted to make sure that the distributors will also be in a safe zone. The combination of Mahesh Babu and Murugadoss has already created ripples in the trade circles.
