Hyderabad: Hamish Finlayson is just 14 years old. But, the Australian boy has already developed five apps and is now in the process of developing his sixth app. Attending the eighth edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) as the youngest delegate, he tells The Hans India that he wants to become an expert in coding and settle as entrepreneur.

Hamish started developing apps when he was just 10. First four of his apps are related to environment and the fifth one about autism. “The sixth one that I am developing is now about virtual reality,” he smiled, holding his GES ID that says Hamish Finlayson of Moonshot Industries Global Pty Ltd, Australia.

He got registered as entrepreneur for the three-day summit. He, however, said he had no idea whether his apps were making any money. “I used to play lots of video. That’s how, I developed interest in app development,” he said. Hailing from Brisbane, Hamish who completed his schooling recently, wants to study technology and artificial intelligence in the university.

“He used to stand first whenever competitions in information technology were held in school. That’s when we noticed his caliber in coding. We want to encourage him. That’s why I brought him so that he could meet others and share his ideas,” said his father senior Finlayson who accompanied him to the GES. According to him, the apps are used to generate funds for autism and other causes.
