A second year engineering student, Vani studying in Idupulapaya Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (IIIT) on Thursday jumped off the college building.
Although her reason behind the suicide attempt is not yet known, the students and staff rushed her to the RIMS immediately. Further details are awaited as the girl is said to be in critical condition as she was bleeding severely after her suicide attempt.
