Two illegal immigrants who are said to be associates of Pakistani national and arrested Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HUJI) terror suspect Abdul Nasir have been arrested on Monday.


While Noor-ul-Haq alias Shaik Noor was arrested on Friday by Delhi Police, Hashim alias Shaik Ameer alias Anwar, another accused was picked up by the police from Lingampally railway station on Monday based on a tip-off. Noor-ul-Haq was brought to Hyderabad on Monday night by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Hyderabad Police after receiving the transit warrant. Both the accused will be produced before court on Tuesday.


A native of Myanmar, Hashim has been residing at Zaheerabad for some years and shuttles between Bangladesh and India whereas Shaik Noor has been running a petty shop selling caps in New Delhi.


The Joint commissioner of the detective department, Central Crime Station, T Prabhakar Rao informed that both are traffickers assisting Nasir. Mr Rao further stated that they are in the process to find out how many more people are involved and also the purpose of the people who are staying in the city. He added that they have six illegal immigrants and two localites in custody so far.
