Naidu promises new health scheme for poor

Kakinada (East Godavari): Telugu Desam party president N Chandrababu Naidu has promised full-fledged health scheme for the poor people.A As part of his 178th day of 'Vastunna Mekosam' walkathon, he has campaigned in Bikkavolu, Gollalamamidada, Peddada and Pedapudi regions in the district. He told that he would pull out the agriculture sector from crisis if TDP would come back to power. He has made several poll promises on the occasion like free power for washermen, health scheme for the poor, implementation of MS Swaminathan Commission's report and many others. Addressing the gathering at Bikkavolu, he asked the party workers to strive hard and expose the irregularities in various schemes. CBI has estimated the assets of YS Jaganmohan Reddy around Rs 43,000 crore, Chandrababu said. With power tariff hike and rise in prices of essential commodities, the condition of people in the State turned miserable. He further accused Congress government of indulging in corrupt practices. Holds Review Meeting Chandrababu Naidu conducted a review meeting of Jaggampeta and Ramachandrapuram constituencies' units with the party workers. He advised them to be ready to face the elections at any time.
