VIT alumni appointed Rwanda’s new Education Minister

In a statement released by the Prime Minister\'s office, Dr Papias Malimba Musafiri, has been appointed as Rwanda’s new Minister for Education. Dr Musafiri replaces Prof. Silas Lwakabamba to take the new top brass position. Beginning his new role as the education minister soon, Dr Musafiri brings with him a history of academic excellence.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and management from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and has a master's degree in business administration majoring in Finance and Information Technology from the School of Business at the tIndian Institute of Technology (IIT-Roorkee). He also holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Management from VIT University.
