TRS Chief Says Reject TDP, Congress Hyderabad: TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has vowed to root out political corruption in the new state of Telangana. He promised a clean and corrupt-free government unlike other traditional parties. Former TDP minister Babu Mohan, Malkajgiri MLA Akula Rajender, educationist P Rajeshwar Reddy and Prof Sitaram Naik joined TRS on Wednesday.

Addressing a large gathering, KCR called upon voters in Telangana to shun the Congress and the Telugu Desam parties in the ensuing elections. The problems and woes of Telangana remained the same even though many governments came and went in the last five decades. “These parties will once again to try to deceive us with false promises but we should be extra careful,” he said.

Lauding the role of JAC steering committee member Prof Sitaram Naik from Kakatiya University, Rao said that party had decided to offer a ticket to him in upcoming elections.

Earlier, he released ‘Jambi’ tri-monthly cultural magazine. Nandini Siddha Reddy and few NRI individuals are behind this concept that aims at spreading the culture, heritage and traditions to every nook and corner of the region.
