TRS Chief KCR Unveils ‘Hi-Tech’ Plans. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi is leaving no stone unturned to woo voters in the 10 districts in the coming elections.
- To address people in 700 locations with 3-D technology
- TRS made an initial payment of Rs 5 crore for the setup
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi is leaving no stone unturned to woo voters in the 10 districts in the coming elections. It has roped in state-of-the-art 3-D hologram technology for election campaigning for the first time in south India. TRS had already made an initial payment of Rs 5 crore for this highly expensive technology, which will enable its party supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao to address the people in 700 different locations, including 200 in Hyderabad alone, in the next three weeks.
Explaining the details, Rao said that live and recorded speeches will be aired at various locations in the 10 districts. He said that he was busy making recorded speeches till 3 am on Saturday.
KCR is planning to reach out to the masses through the 3-D hologram technology that was popularised by the Gujarat Chief Minister during the 2012 Assembly elections when he addressed voters at multiple locations at the same time.
The party has allotted two vehicles fitted with screens for each of the nine districts besides three for Hyderabad.
After the MLA and MP nominees finish their speeches at public meetings in their respective constituencies, Rao’ speech will be telecast from the vehicle so that the people will be able to hear directly from the TRS supremo about the party’s vision for the region.
Apart from reaching out to voters with this latest technology, Rao has devised plans to tour 80-odd constituencies and directly address at least six to seven meetings a day. He said that he would be travelling extensively by helicopter and by road in the evening for this purpose.
The TRS chief will initially address three public meetings in Karimnagar (April 13), Nalgonda (April 14) and Nizamabad (April 15). The constituency-wise programme will be prepared in the meantime, which is most likely to kick-start from April 16.
