AICC President Sonia Gandhi to Address Two Meetings in Telangana Today, all set to address her second round of public meetings in Telangana on Sunday to give the much-needed impetus to the ruling party\'s poll campaign in the region.
Hyderabad: With time ticking away for campaign in Telangana, the Congress high command is upping its ante and is making last minute effort to see that the party wins a good number of seats.

AICC president Sonia Gandhi is all set to address her second round of public meetings in Telangana on Sunday to give the much-needed impetus to the ruling party's poll campaign in the region. She will address two public meetings - one at Chevella in Ranga Reddy district and the other at Andhole in Medak district - on Sunday.
The campaign in Telangana would come to an end by Monday evening and polling would take place on April 30. Sonia Gandhi, it may be recalled, had already addressed a public meeting in Karimnagar this week and claimed credit for making the Telangana State a reality. A day later, BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi addressed a meeting at the same place and he also claimed credit for making Telangana a reality. As the BJP pressed all its top leaders into campaign mode in the state, the Congress party also sent all those who matter in the party for campaigning in Telangana.On Saturday, Ghulam Nabi Azad held a road show in Medak district and addressed a meeting at Amberpet in Hyderabad. AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh also addressed a meeting in Adilabad district along with TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah.
