The comic convention hosted one-of-its-kind interactive session ‘40 Hours of Programming’ through panels, launches, gaming, video hangouts and more. Sessions like ‘The Robots of Dharma’ by Syenagiri Studios, ‘Live Concept Art Demonstration’ by Rahul Philip and ‘Free Style Rapping’ by Sid Sood. Anime and manga merchandise were brought in by Japanese merchandiser IINE Toys. Also, exclusive international books and merchandise from IDW Publishing, Oni Press, Image Comics and Tonyk Toys was available.

The convention saw over five exclusive book launches -- ‘Garuda’ by Orange Radius, ‘Item Dhamaka’ by Aayumi Productions, ‘The Seven Beasts’ by Patridge Publications, ‘Sarvasangraam’ and ‘Dragon King’ by Raj Comics.

The three-day fest saw some awesome merchandise launches at the convention. Atma Studios launched their brand ‘Lat Lakar’. Tinkle launched bobble heads of its famous characters.

“Last year we came to Hyderabad with our travelling version called Comic Con Express Hyderabad, but looking at the response, we announced our annual property Hyderabad Comic Con. The response from participants and fans at Hyderabad was fantastic! The enthusiasm shown by the fans was incredible. We hope to be back next year even bigger and better,” shared Jatin Varma, founder, Comic Con India.
