Veteran Bir Bahadur steals limelight
There was a sense of poignancy when living legend and the man who is going through a harrowing life, Bir Bahadur, kicked a ball to formally mark the inauguration of a ‘Seven-a-side’ football tournament at Gagan Mahal Grounds in the city on Saturday. Themed \"Go-al-Addict\", the event is being jointly organised under the aegis of State Bank of Hyderabad. A total of 127 teams, including 45 junior outfits, are participating in the tournament.

K Nagaraj, Deputy General Manager and Dr Mishra, Chief Manager, Liaison department of the bank graced the occasion. The organisers thanked the State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) for sponsoring the event and the Government College for Physical Education in Domalguda, for providing grounds and the referees to conduct the tournament.
