Old City girls rally

As part of efforts towards upcoming ‘International Day of Girl Child’, women and girls participated in a peaceful rally near Charminar in the Old City on Friday.

Holding placards with messages like “Are we safe in free India”, the girls took to the streets to protest agains the atrocities faced by the gender.

The ‘Girl Child Day’ is celebrated globally on October 11.
