Chhota Bheem is about an adventurous and fun-loving team of a 9-year-old boy Chhota Bheem in the mythical city of Dholakpur. Bheem plays the role of a mighty savior of Dholakpur who strives to restore the peace and prosperity. He is a legendary character comprising of intelligence, kindness, gentleness, friendliness, courage, strength and bravery. The animation teaches us several priceless life lessons if we read in between the lines. Here you go
1 Be honest, wise and bold:
Bheem is honest and therefore free from any kind of worry; he is intelligent and wise, so free from perplexities and contradictions; and he is psychically and mentally strong so free from fear and insecurities.
2 Stop being jealous
“The jealous are possessed by a mad devil and a dull spirit at the same time”
Jealousy is a negative force that causes harm to none but yourself. Eleven-year-old bully, envious and hopeless rival Ustad Kalia and the wicked team of Khichak who are jealous of Bheem’s popularity and strength, desperately attempt to let Bheem down by their strenuous efforts of plying plots to embarrass and defeat him but they are never successful in their foolish game. You cannot become good by trying to take someone down; likewise, you can’t build your character and courage by snatching away others’ initiative, gallantry, valor and sovereignty.
3 Stay united
“Where there is unity there is always victory”
The spirit of unity gives you strength, endurance, and encouragement to stand firm against severest strain without succumbing to disruptive forces. Kalia is certainly mischievous and roughish but he unites with Bheem with his two stupid innocuous followers for the sake of welfare of the countrymen. Even if you possess extraordinary strength, you will need help on several occasions in life. Remember, unity is the must have prerequisite for growth and success.
4 Instead of complaining utilize your resources
“It doesn’t matter how many resources you have. If you don’t know how to use them, it will never be enough”
In some ways we all have access to the resources within us to win against all odds but majority of us don’t know their proper use which is why we complain about the things we don’t possess.
Kalia is older and seems to be stronger and bolder than Bheem but he always loses to him. Even if Kalia Pehelwan is blessed with magical powers, which he often receives, but looses them all at the end due to their improper use or bad intention, to use them to harm others.
5 Be considerate, generous and courteous
“A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, make all the difference” Consideration and kindness are greatest wisdom and moral beauty that you can show to others and they always return to you like a boomerang. Bheen always displays his benevolent regards for all beings including his friends and strangers.
He considers his friend’s safety first even in the dreadful dangers. He stands as the shield against prominent threat against his friends, villagers and strangers alike. Be compassionate to others; it doesn’t cost anything rather evaporates all misinterpretation, mistrust, and hostility and brings sunshine into others’ lives.
6 Stay calm, quite and poised
Being poised is the mark of intelligence, maturity and courteousness. It is an invisible but incredible power that creates peace within, awakens wisdom and initiates balanced actions. Bheem is always calm and poised, so he can hear the slightest noise of forthcoming dangers and can take necessary actions before it’s too late. We need to be poised even in the presence of formidable menace of situation to cope it gracefully and rationally.
7. Stay alert
Being alert is to be defensive towards impending danger you have never imaged to have existed. The most dangerous situation is to find yourself in the midst of somewhere you can’t see, or can’t listen and this is where your alert mind is helps you find the right path. Bheem stays alert about his surroundings, so he can hear and sense the suspicious and tentative state what others can’t.
8 True sportsmanship
“True sportsmanship is Knowing that whether you win or lose, you will walk off the course with pride. It is also acknowledging that we are only as a good as our opponents, and that we should always give our 100 percent.”
Chhota Bheem always acknowledges his opponent with heart-warming aspiration regardless of whether they are friends or rivals. In many episodes, he plays the game honestly and ethically while rescuing other contestant in danger who could have been dead without his sympathy. When you are ethical, sincere, moral and respectful towards the players and game, you actually win (millions of hearts) even by losing it.
9 Be confident
“Self-confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings”
Confidence is the key to success. If you are eccentric in your opinion, believe in yourself, have faith in your ability and stick to it with confidence and you will find your treasure. Bheem never lives down to his expectations, he sticks to whatever decision he takes.
Expand the proportion of your courage to conquer none but yourself!
10 Be humorous
“Humor is the great thing, the saving thing after all. The minute it crops up, all our hardnesses yield, all our irritations, and resentments flit away, and a sunny spirit takes their place”
Chhota Bheem has a very good sense of humor so he diffuses all problems and lightens the loads of trials and tribulations easily. He ignores Kalia’s tricks to embarrass him by laughing off, which is why they are always friends. Life is too short to live too serious. Explore your greatest asset ‘the sense of humor’ to see the lighter side of everything and lower the stress level and live the life the way it comes.
