TruJet begins operations. Regional carrier TruJet started its operations connecting Rajahmundry and Tirupati with Hyderabad. Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju flagged off the maiden flight at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad to Tirupati.
Hyderabad: Regional carrier TruJet started its operations connecting Rajahmundry and Tirupati with Hyderabad. Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju flagged off the maiden flight at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad to Tirupati. The airline offers wide-ranging route network which meets the requirement of business travellers and pilgrims, a statement said.

City-based aviation entrepreneur Umesh Vankayalapati and actor Ram Charan Teja are promoters of the regional airline. It will run special flights on Hyderabad-Rajahmundry-Hyderabad route till July 25, in view of Godavari pushkarams. Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya and Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao participated at the inaugural function.
