Musheerabad: “The TRS State government stands first in the country in protecting law and order,” said Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy here on Sunday.

He was speaking after handing over certificates, along with Corporator Srinivas Reddy, to girl-students and women who completed the course offered by the Henna Mehandi Beauty Parlour.

Addressing the function, the minister stressed the importance of educating the girl child. He observed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would take credit for setting up She-team for protecting women. He warned that PD Act would be enforced against those harassing women.

The minister pointed out that other States were discussing the measures being taken by KCR to develop Telangana. Reddy asserted that the government would focus special attention on the welfare of the Minorities. It had set up 204 hostels for providing education to the children of the Minorities.
Among those present were local leaders Wajid Dli, Mudigonda Murali and Lalitha.
