DCP inaugurates 21 CCTV cameras at Saket

Malkajgiri DCP Uma Maheshwara Sharma inaugurated 21 CCTV cameras at Saket Colony on Friday. He said that the cameras would control crimes and help police in nabbing culprits. He appreciated the colony residents who spent about Rs 6.5 lakh for the initiative.

The DCP said that the State government along with police department had set a target of installing 10 lakh CCTV cameras in the State. Kushiaguda ACP Krishna Murthy, Jawahar Nagar CI Chalapathi, SIs Uday Bhaskar, colony president P Reddeyya and other members were present.
