Awards presented to Hyderabad Depot III drivers

Musheerabad: On the concluding day of the Road Safety Week in Hyderabad Depot III on Monday, ACP C Shyambabu, C Ramesh, Khairatabad RTO, P Komarayya, TRSRTC Executive Director (Operations) gave away awards to the staff. Ranga Reddy RTC Regional Manager I Yadagiri presided.

Addressing the function, the ACP pointed out that many families were suffering because of increasing road accidents, while appealing to people to ensure prevalence of mishap-free society as responsibility. He congratulated RTC drivers for meritorious services and appealed to them to make sure that there were no accidents by inspiring other drivers. He advised drivers to stop at bus bays for taking the passengers.

The RTO called upon drivers to be calm and observe mistakes of others while moving on the road. He advised them to inculcate healthy habits and cautioned against using cell phones while driving. DV Pradeep Kumar Reddy, ACP (law & order), Chikkadpally, suggested to every RTC driver to improve their skills by offering better services to people.

Komarayya pointed out that RTC was giving first priority to safety of passengers. This should be kept in mind by every RTC staffer for bringing a good name to the corporation. Yadagiri complimented every staffer in the Ranga Reddy region for the 50 per cent fall in accident rate last year. As society expects good services from RTC, every driver should ensure safety. He honoured the best accident-free drivers on the occasion.
