Kapra: Officials of Medchal district Legal Metrology department on Thursday raided various multiplexes and single screen theatres under Kapra Circle limits. They found no MRP (maximum retail price) on chips packets at canteen of Talluri Theatre and registered a case.
The officials also raided Radhika Multiplex and registered two cases for selling popcorn and cool drinks at higher prices. Later, speaking to media, Assistant controllers Rajeshwar and Karunakar Reddy appealed to people to complaint against the high prices.
