This year’s Christmas celebrations at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre began with the making of first ever Santa's Workshop along with Kidihou (kid’s discovery house) as the technology partner. The workshop was a live 3D model with Santa and his team of elves being carved out from Thermocol and fitted with motors and sensors in perfect shapes and sizes.
The model is 12 feet high and 23 feet in length and is made by using material like scraps, polyfill (old pillows) and lots of recycled material. The workshop is decorated with snow along with glittering Christmas decorations and lighting. The staff at Novotel and children enjoyed the workshop and witnessed Santa and his team in full force gearing up to make gifts for the children.
The area was illuminated with the lighting of the Christmas tree. Children from Global Edge school sang Christmas carols with soul touching lyrics and background music. The atmosphere was warm and was filled with laughter and giggles of children who were excited to see the workshop and witness the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
