The incident occurred near the entrance at the largest Eid congregation in Kishoreganj district, 100 km from capital Dhaka, where over 3 lakh people had gathered to offer namaz, Bangladesh information minister said.
Last Friday, seven terrorists attacked Dhaka's popular Holey Artisan cafe last Friday, killing 22 people, including two policemen.
