Telangana Coal Mining Workers Union general secretary Kengerla Mallaiah and Mancherial Mandal Parishad president Bara Satyanarayana said that the previous governments totally forgotten the welfare of the workers whereas the present Telangana government has been taking number of steps for the workers’ welfare.

They added that all the workers should be thankful to the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, for fulfilling their wish of compassionate appointments.

They also said that some workers unions in the name of national unions were misleading workers in the compassionate appointments. They appealed to the workers not to take into account of such misleading statements as the decision was taken after well-consideration and the board of the directors too agreed with the decision.

It is expected that at least 40,000 children of the workers would benefit by these appointments. They reiterated that the CM doesn’t have second thought on dependent and compassionate appointments.

The representative of official negotiations Panuganti Sathaiah, area-wise president Kethireddy Surender Reddy and other leaders were also present.
