Woman delivers twins in 108 ambulance in Bhadrachalam

Turram Nagamani, a woman from Mangavai Baduga in Dummugudem mandal on Wednesday, gave birth to twins in 108 ambulance while she was being taken to Bhadrachalam Area Hospital.
Bhadrachalam: Turram Nagamani, a woman from Mangavai Baduga in Dummugudem mandal on Wednesday, gave birth to twins in 108 ambulance while she was being taken to Bhadrachalam Area Hospital.
She was taken to Reguballi in an auto-rickshaw after which she complained of labour pains. She was later shifted to 108 ambulance, and soon delivered twins on the way to the area hospital.
Emergency Medical Technician M Sridevi and Pilot Ch Pradeep assisted in the delivery process. “Both mother and infants are safe. They were admitted to the Area Hospital,” said Sridevi.
