Employees working with Andhra Pradesh government requested the authorities to declare holiday to cast their vote in Telangana assembly elections to be held on December 7.
Many of the employees, who shifted to AP after the bifurcation of state, still have their votes in Telangana.
The employees unions met the chief secretary and submitted a memorandum requesting to declare public holiday. Nearly, 4000 employees are getting ready to exercise their adult franchise in Telangana.
