If it’s summer then don’t forget to apply sunscreen on your lips as you apply dollops of it on the rest of your face and neck.

Use pomegranate!

Crush the seeds of pomegranates and apply it on your lips. This is one of the best homemade remedies for lightening dark lips. You will soon see a slow improvement in the way your lips lighten.

Say ‘No’ to smoking

Smoking is one of the major reasons why your lips become dark and dull. Naturally, one of the homemade remedies for lightening dark lips also includes finding a motivation for quitting smoking.
