Mumbai: Inferno at Hotel; Nigerian Killed. Early on Friday, in a fire accident that happened in a hotel room in Navi Mumbai in Mumbai, a Nigerian citizen died. As many as 28 others including a German couple sustained stern injuries in this incident.
Mumbai: Early on Friday, in a fire accident that happened in a hotel room in Navi Mumbai in Mumbai, a Nigerian citizen died. As many as 28 others including a German couple sustained stern injuries in this incident. The reason for the mishap is reportedly the A/C short circuit in Wanton House hotel.
The eyewitnesses said that the people over there suffered following the heavy smoke surrounded in the hotel rooms. People ran out of fear from their rooms and in this episode many people were hurt. Most of the people hurt in the incident are learnt to be the staff of the hotel, while remaining few are the staff of nearby Axis Bank. Those sustained injuries have been rushed to a nearby hospital. The fire rescue team brought the fire under control. More details in the matter are awaited.
