New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will hold three public meetings in Bihar on October 26, two days before the third phase of assembly elections. He will address two rallies in West Champaran district and one in Sitamarhi, a Congress statement said.

Congress in alliance with JD(U) and RJD is contesting on 41 seats in the state while its other partners are fighting in 101 seats each. While the BJP is trying to cash on Modi's development plank, the JD(U)-RJD has a track record of governance and social justice.

Rahul has addressed a few rallies in Bihar so far. The Bihar PCC chief had made it clear that Mr Gandhi will be the Congress’ star campaigner against the BJP, whose chief campaigner is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Eighty-one constituencies have gone to polls so far in two phases and 162 will go in the next three remaining phases.
