New Delhi: When Congress president Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi and four other senior Congress leaders appear before a magistrate on Saturday to honour the summons issued by the court in the National Herald case they will have the option of jail or bail.
Till now, neither Sonia nor Rahul have applied for bail bonds raising speculations that the top Congress leaders have decided to go to jail to prove their innocence in the case,
which they have termed as political vendetta on part of the BJP. "We are all set for tomorrow," Sonia told a TV channel, refusing to say anything over whether she will be applying for bail bond on Saturday.
