Poachers have continued killing spree in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park (KNP) as poachers killed another one horned rhinoceros in the world heritage site on Wednesday night.
Guwahati: Poachers have continued killing spree in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park (KNP) as poachers killed another one horned rhinoceros in the world heritage site on Wednesday night.
On Thursday morning forest guards had found carcass of a bullet injuries male rhino inside the national park. The incident took place at Bahubil forest camp area under Bagori range of the park.
“Poachers killed the rhino using by sophisticated weapons and managed to flee with its horn,” a KNP official said. Poachers have killed at least 16 rhinos alone in Kaziranga in this year so far.
