Jammu: Over 2.81 lakh pilgrims have paid obeisance at the cave shrine of Amarnath in south Kashmir Himalayas till date, officials said.

"On the 51st day of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra, 843 yatris paid obeisance at the holy cave," they said.

Till date, 2,81,227 yatris have had 'darshan' of the 'shivling' at the holy cave, they said. The yatra was resumed from Jammu on Thursday, after three-day- long suspension due to the closure of the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, the officials said.
