City based firm ‘mTouchLabs’ announced the release of iPhone SMS backup, an application for Mac and PC that allows one to easily copy text messages (SMS/iMessages) from ones iPhone directly to Mac. Text messages have become one of the most important forms of communication with friends, family, loved ones and colleagues.
The app would be able to convert the SMS database in to Excel, CSV and HTML formats, offering the possibility to browse them easily from your computer using any application like a text editor or Microsoft Excel, without worrying about losing important messages. One could sort their messages based on multiple criteria, leveraging the sorting feature of a tabular format. With iPhone SMS backup, one can save their messages rather than delete them to free up some memory from their iOS devices. Messages can be previewed before downloading them on to Mac or PC.
