VH losing his warrior skills

Congress' old war horse from Telangana, V.Hanumantha Rao, more popularly known as Hanumantanna or VH seems to be losing his warrior skills. Hanumantha Rao, MP in Rajya Sabha created a ruckus in the House stalling the proceedings on Friday, demanding apology from Parliamentary Affairs minister Venkaiah Naidu.

He asked Venkaiah to prove charges that he had abused Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Venkaiah insulted him by getting him suspended from the House for one day on false charges and said he never insulted Prime Mnisiter or abused him. However, deputy speaker Kurien turned down VH's request saying when Venkaiah did not abuse him how could he reprimand the minister and VH should let it go as he had already clarified giving explanation.

With Hanumantha Rao unrelenting, even minister for state for Parliamentary Affairs, Naqvi said no one can help if Hanumantha Rao is hellbent on stalling the House for trivial reasons. Other opposition leaders too supported Hanumantha Rao on which Kurien got angry and questioned what they want him to do and said if VH gives privilege motion, he will take suitable action.
