Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Tuesday informed the Legislative Assembly that the State government was launching a scheme called \'Telangana Palle Pragathi (TRIGP)\' in 150 backward mandals in Telangana State. Replying to a question raised by MLA E Ravinder Reddy and others during Question Hour, the Minister said there were three components for the project.

Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Tuesday informed the Legislative Assembly that the State government was launching a scheme called 'Telangana Palle Pragathi (TRIGP)' in 150 backward mandals in Telangana State. Replying to a question raised by MLA E Ravinder Reddy and others during Question Hour, the Minister said there were three components for the project. They are: livelihood diversification, productivity enhancement and improved market access through formation of producer organisations; Support in human development through health and nutrition security and higher educational attainment for enhance employability and access to entitlements for poor through Palle Samagra Seva Kendram (One Stop Shop) service points at the Panchayat level with digital connectivity to improve the outreach and quality of access for the select services. KTR also informed that Rs 642 crore will be spent over five years on the TRIGP scheme.
