Voice samples of Revanth, Sandra sent to court

Audio clips of the TD MLAs A Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah’s speeches in the Assembly have been sent to the Special Court by the TS Assembly secretariat for Anti-Corruption Bureau cases.

Both the MLAs are accused in the cash for vote scam and are out on bail. The clips will now be asked to be sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for examination by the ACB so that the voices from the audio tapes will be compared to those tapes in the case. Earlier, the FSL sent a report after examining the tapes regarding the case were genuine and not doctored. Now, the FSL will match the voices so as to confirm that the voices are those of the accused MLAs.

While the ACB has submitted the interview tapes of Jerusalem Mattaiah and Bishop Harry Sebastian who are the other accused in the case in Court and will be sent for examination to FSL, ACB is however to ask Assembly secretariat concerning the audio tapes of the speeches of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The Chief Minister’s name cropped into the case when one of the audio tapes is said to have the voice of Chandrababu while the other accused during their conversations mentioned him as ‘Boss’ and ‘Babu’.
