Groom blind students talent, says Collector

Mahbubnagar: The District Collector T K Sridevi on Friday urged the teachers and management of the government-run blind school to groom the hidden talent of the blind students.

Expose the hidden talent of the blind students so that society can appreciate and provide ample scope for support and opportunities for their betterment, she said.

The District Collector was attending a New Year celebration event at the government-run blind school here. She also advised the students to set new goals for themselves this year and accordingly plan for achieving the same. She also directed the teachers and management of the blind school to improve the talent of the blind students by grooming them with care.

The Collector also assured that she will speak to special officers with regard to filling up of all the vacant posts in blind schools and will ensure availability of all facilities for the welfare of the blind children.
