Miyapur Police Safely Return Missing Five-Year-Old to Family

Miyapur police reunited an unidentified five-year-old boy parents after tracking him for several hours after he disappeared. On Sunday the child was seen playing in the park alone, but disappeared after wandering away for more than a kilometre.
The boy was discovered by police officers who were on routine patrols and was arrested and given the custody of his parents.
"While children were outside playing on his own, he walked away from the house and went absent since he had walked an area of about 1 kilometre by feet," Miyapur Inspector Shiva Prasad stated.
When the police were trying to find his family members for over two hours, his parents came looking for him. Unable to locate the boy, they were preparing to file a missing-person complaint.

Exclaiming their joy that their son was safe, boy's parents were Rajesh and wife - thanked for the police rescue child for having been swift and prompt in the process of reuniting their son with them.
Inspector Palavelli further stated, “Prajwal went out to play around 11: 20 am on June 29 but did not return home. Prajwal’s mental state is unstable and he is not able to speak properly. He used to leave home without telling anyone earlier. His aunt has lodged an entry/register missing report with Chandanagar police station.”
Operation Muskaan is an initiative taken by Cyberabad Police under the supervision of Cyberabad Commissioner Stephen Raveendra to trace missing children and child labourers.
