Nizamabad MP K Kavitha on Monday kick-started the campaign for the GHMC election at Khairatabad constituency in Hyderabad. Addressing the public at the campaign amongst the TRS activists, Kavitha stressed on the need for people to participate in the elections.
The TRS MP further hoped that the people would for the TRS party and make the party emerge victorious. Kavitha even took dig against earlier governments stating that in the focus of building the Hi-tech City, they ignored the concerns of the people in the state and added that on the other hand, KCR immediately after coming to power conducted a survey to evaluate the number of people in Hyderabad.
She pointed out that before the survey, it was reported that nearly 50,000 people resided in the city but the survey revealed there were over 1 crore people residing in Hyderabad.
