GHMC Elections schedule released
The State Election Commission (SEC) on Friday released the election schedule for the upcoming GHMC elections.

As per the schedule, the GHMC elections are to be held on February 2. State Election Commissioner V Nagi Reddy said that poll code comes into force from today itself.
Counting: February 5
Notification to be released: on Jan 12
Last date for nomination: January 17
Last date to withdraw nomination: January 21
Scrutiny : January 18
Total polling centres: 7,757
Polling time: 7 am to 5 pm
EVM machines to be used: 12,000
Live webcasting: 3,000 centers
The Telangana government has finalized the list for GHMC ward reservations following which the SEC announced the schedule.
