Victory proves people’s support to TRS: Kavitha
TRS MP K Kavitha said the TRS victory in civic body elections proved that the people were extending support to the ruling party. She attributed the victory to the welfare schemes of the government. The results proved that the people were supporting the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, she said.

Accusing the Opposition parties of making a hue and cry as the people discarded them, the TRS leader reiterated that the government was committed to keep all the promises made. The Opposition parties which were routed in the elections should mend their ways and rethink, she suggested.
Else the opposition would not get even single digit seats in future elections, Kavitha opined. She also exuded confidence that similar results would be repeated in 2019 general elections in favour of the TRS as the people had great faith on the government’s welfare schemes. The 18-month rule of the TRS implemented many welfare schemes which were not implemented during the past six decades, she claimed.
