Cricket betting gang nabbed
Police arrested an eight-member gang, involved in cricket betting in the town on Tuesday late night. According to Two-Town sub-inspector Nagadurga Prasad, the police, on a tip-off, raided on Pink and Blue gift shop located at Shivaji Nagar in Nalgonda town and arrested eight persons, who have been conducting betting on IPL matches ever since the matches started.

The police recovered Rs 29,000 cash, two motorbikes, and eight cell phones from the spot. The police informed that under the leadership of one Mr Narender Reddy, the team is spreading its betting operations to attract the innocent youth. According to reports, the organisers were allegedly offering their customers Rs 1,000 on every 1000 on the strong team and Rs 1,500 on every 1,000 on weak teams.
