Mallanna Sagar Project will be ready by next year: K Chandrashekar Rao
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao reiterated that even though some vested interests have been trying to stop the projects, the irrigation projects taken up by the State government would not be stopped. He said the government is determined to complete Mallanna Sagar Project by next year.

Interacting with farmers from Narsapur Assembly constituency who called on him at Pragathi Bhavan, the Chief Minister said that the new initiative of giving Rs 4,000 per acre per crop would enable the farmers to purchase seed, fertiliser and pesticides. If this is continued for 5 to 6 years and if monsoon cooperates, farmers will be immensely benefitted, he said.
